Four Winds Cottage
Four Winds Cottage at Ingleside was the original tool shed on this historic 4-acre property, now a fully renovated 3 bedroom / 1 bath cottage, right next to Montgomery Inn at Ingleside in Park Corner, Prince Edward Island. This structure was originally built in the 1870s by Senator Donald Montgomery, grandfather to the beloved Canadian author L. M. Montgomery.
With views of the Lake of Shining Waters as well as the ocean in the back, Four Winds Cottage is the perfect dream destination for Anne and L. M. Montgomery fans seeking a peaceful oasis on P.E.I. For fans of L. M. Montgomery, Ingleside served as Maud's literary inspiration for the home of Anne and Gilbert and their 6 children.
This cozy cottage has a no-step access master bedroom downstairs with its own private entrance and a full ensuite bathroom with an additional door off of the kitchen. Also downstairs is a beautiful, fully-equipped kitchen, and a vaulted living room and dining area. There are 2 adorable loft bedrooms upstairs, reminiscent of Little House on the Prairie, with 2 twin beds in each room.
This newly renovated cottage shares a driveway with the historic Montgomery Inn at Ingleside but has its own backyard patio with barbecue grill. More landscaping and patio work is scheduled for this fall.
